Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Cost/Fee Guidelines
We work hard to make dental care affordable.. The cost of treatment depends on the severity of the patient's problem. You will be able to discuss fees and payment options before treatment begins. We have payment plans to suit different budgets. We also accept assignment from most insurance plans, and file the necessary papers to the insurance company. If you have insurance, we will help you determine the coverage you have available. Our office is happy to cooperate with patients who have insurance; however, we do ask the following:
• Please read your policy book and/or talk to your benefits director to be fully aware of any limits or exclusions.
•The Financial Coordinator will only file the patient’s primary insurance. If a patient has secondary insurance, the responsible party will need to submit the claim to the secondary insurance. Our Financial Coordinator will assist if you have any questions.
• The responsible party must notify the Financial Coordinator if the patient’s insurance company changes or if the insurance policy is terminated.
In an effort to keep dental fees down while maintaining the highest level of professional care, we have established this financial policy:
• To fit your individual needs, financial arrangements can be made to extend your payments over a period of months with Care Credit.
•For your convenience, we accept payment by Cash, Check, VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER and AMERICAN EXPRESS and CARE CREDIT.
Please feel free to ask questions any time. Our staff is dedicated to helping you achieve the best possible smile. Let’s work together so our goals can be achieved in a pleasant and rewarding manner.
we love working with children.
What to expect at the
First Pediatric Dental Visit
The first visit to a new office can be exciting and scary, especially if you are a child. We believe that your child’s first visit to our dental office should be fun and educational for you both, so please do not hesitate to ask any questions.
We, along with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, recommend you bring your child in by his or her first birthday.
During your first visit, you will be introduced to our Pediatric Dental Team, given an office tour and and given an opportunity to discuss your child's unique smile and ways to keep it beautiful for years to come.
Depending on the age of your child, he or she will either be given a knee-to-knee examination (where your baby’s head will rest on our doctor’s knee while their body is on your lap) or a regular exam in the doctor’s chair.
Oral hygiene instructions will also be given with suggestions to help your child care for their own teeth. In most cases, we will also clean their teeth on this visit, and provide an evaluation that will outline any existing dental problems and proposed treatment.
We want to do everything we can to give your child a positive experience to build on!
treating your child is a privilege.
Why Choose a Pediatric Dentist?
Dr. Gutierrez is a Pediatric Dental Specialist.
Pediatric Dentists focus on the treatment and prevention of dental disease, as well as the overall oral health of children. Through extra years of schooling, training, experience, and certification, a pediatric dentist, like Dr. Gutierrez, is uniquely qualified to treat the dental needs of infants, children, teens and those with special needs.
Why Choose a Pediatric Dentist?
A pediatric patient not only has a different dentition than adults but he/she may have specific dental and behavioral needs that are unique to a child. These needs may include orthodontics, dental sealants, fluoride applications or home treatments, or just simply education in oral hygiene. In addition to treating existing dental problems, our office focuses on prevention through patient and parent education.
We like to feel that you and your child do not come to our office to have their ”cavities fixed” but rather to prevent them. Our mission is to provide all of the educational tools necessary for our patients to enjoy a cavity-free future.
Establishing your child's dental home
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry encourages parents and other care providers to help every child establish a dental home by 12 months of age. Establishing a dental home provides some key components to dental care for your child including...
• Comprehensive oral health care including acute care and preventive services.
• Individualized preventive dental health program based upon a caries-risk assessment.
• Anticipatory guidance regarding growth and development.
• Plan for acute dental trauma (emergencies).
• Dietary counseling.
• Referrals to dental specialists when care cannot directly be provided within the dental home.
• Referral at an age determined by patient, parent, and
pediatric dentist.

"We have been going to Dr. G for about 15 years and love him and the staff! They are always accommodating and attentive to the kids needs and explain everything clearly to the parents. My kids have never had a fear of the dentist or any issue with going and that says something about the care they get. I only wish he serviced adults too! Excellent dentist and staff!"
